Gardening with Cultivate

Our exciting new gardening and horticulture enterprise aims to provide the local community with fresh and organic fruit, vegetables and plants.

This supported work opportunity will suit those who enjoy working outdoors and duties will include general garden maintenance (cutting grass, weeding and plant pest control), digging and preparing areas for planning, propagating seeds, tending plants and harvesting crops.

It is early days with this venture but with the right staff and support we hope to develop an extensive area of raised beds and a polytunnel for all year round produce. We also hope to use the staff’s skills in the garden to help the local community further by providing a gardening maintenance service for those without the time or capability to do it themselves.

- £10.50 per hour - 15h per week - 6 month contract
